Not every good renovation starts with a blank slate — and not every client has a blank-slate budget. Built in partnership with David Elliot Builders, The Daily Table kept the existing quartz counters and tile floor, both still in great shape, and put the budget where it would show: new cabinetry, a marble-look backsplash, brass fixtures, and a banquette-anchored breakfast nook built for a family that actually eats together.

What Stayed, What Changed
Kept

Quartz countertops and the existing tile floor — both in good condition and not worth the budget to replace.

Changed

All new cabinetry, a marble-look slab backsplash, brass fixtures, and a built-in banquette for the nook.
